Goal:
To ensure that the app is understandable and usable by all including those
with additional needs, specific considerations related to COVID or adaptive
approaches to access and engage with content.

What we did:
Very regular usability testing of prototype new elements and the live app. Inclusive design advice, including gorilla testing to check our assumptions, and “meet your users” workshops for designers. Support for development of key communications, such as the accessibility statement.
Outcome:
The app is constantly changing, but people with disabilities, older, less tech, savvy, and those with heightened anxiety are being included and their needs considered. We collaborate very closely with the mainstream research agency (co-designing protocols, and combining insights) and work very closely with the audit team, design and developmen teams.
