Goal:
Actionable inclusive design support to build eLearning tools to help raise awareness about the potential of inclusive design in theme parks and attractions, improve skills, reduce fears about getting it “wrong” and understand how to proactively “get it right”.

Method:
Online training workshops for designers, engagement with customers with lived experiences of disability and expert inclusive design advice/co-design of wireframes and videos of disabled customers on site for the eLearning module.
Outcome:
Merlin successfully rolled out their inclusive e-learning platform to staff 30 attractions across the UK. Plans are in the works to translate the English version into multiple languages later this year to serve staff at another 100 attractions in 25 countries.
