What is Aspiritech?
Since 2008, tech nonprofit Aspiritech has been dedicated to providing meaningful employment in tech to adults on the autism spectrum. From quality assurance, data/AI, and accessibility to web design and creative services, autism and neurodivergence is represented in every department and level of the organization, including a 100% autistic operational team.
With clients including industry leaders in finance, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and more, Aspiritech is also proud to offer specially-tailored services to partners of all sizes dedicated to building better, more usable platforms for all.
Aspiritech Impact
Thanks to the support of our clients, donors, and community, Aspiritech is able to offer our team members the accommodations and opportunities they deserve to thrive in their roles. These include:
- Stepping Up & Out, a community-building program featuring in-person and online events for autistic team and community members
- The ACE Fund, which offers financial grants for team members navigating life changes and unexpected expenses
- Specialized staff dedicated to helping our team members show up as their best selves every day
- Sensory-friendly spaces within our headquarters in Evanston, Illinois

How and Why Open Inclusion is supporting the Aspiritech
Both Aspiritech and Open have identified a need for greater opportunities for people with disabilities to find meaningful, valuable and valued work.
We have each independently recognized and designed technology-enabled and collaborative solutions to support people with a wide range of additional needs looking to develop skills and find more inclusive and accessible work opportunities across this very heterogeneous community.
We would both like to build community enabling and system changing capability globally. Our target is more inclusive employment, both generating income and providing work opportunities for people with disabilities.
